One Year Performance 1980–1981 (Time Clock Piece) (1980-1981)

Performance; '7 Marina Abramović has called the Taiwanese-born performance artist Tehching Hsieh a master. From 1978 to 1986, Hsieh accomplished five „One Year Performances”. There is a Jump piece, Cage piece, Outdoor Piece and others. In the „Time Clock Piece” Hsieh punched a time clock every hour on the hour. Each time he punched the clock, he took a single picture of himself. As he shaved his head before the piece, the growing hair reflected the passage of time.
