PERFORMANCE POETICA MITIS

Poet and sound artist, member of the text group “Orbīta”, Arturs Punte. 

Architect and sound artist, member of the group "bernurits", Maksims Šenteļevs. 

In the performance "Poetica Mitis", the word will return to the beginning of the very place where it originated, and where it should return to forever - into the lap of nature.

In the sound performance, the artists will deconstruct the text, creating a sound landscape with anthropophonics, biophonic and geophonic instruments. 

The performance itself is the creation of a kind of sound illustration in real time for a fictional audiobook, the sound landscape of which is created on the spot, using only the audio resources of the text itself. The sounds of the deconstructed text will slowly merge with the sounds of the environment, and the imaginary audiobook will turn into a fantastic environmental story.
