#MeToo, #BlackLivesMatter un citu aktīvo protesta kustību ietekmē arvien vairāk tiek aktualizēts jautājums par to, kurš stāsta kura stāstu un kā. Kolektīvās un līdzdalības filmēšanas metodes izaicina tradicionālās filmu hierarhijas struktūras, meklējot alternatīvus veidus, kā organizēt filmēšanas procesu. Abu pieeju izmantošana veicina iesaistīto aktīvu diskusiju, radošumu un sadarbību, kā arī paver iespējas negaidītajam un eksperimentālajam.

Interactive installation "AI Odyssey"

To encourage festival visitors to investigate whether AI inhibits or promotes creativity, the new media artist Jurģis Peters has created an interactive installation "AI Odyssey." Every festival attendee will have the opportunity to create their own short film script in collaboration with AI.

2ANNAS Industry days will focus on animation

From April 11 to 13, the Riga International Short Film Festival 2ANNAS Industry Days program 2ANNAS FORUM: Animation DNA takes place. This year the program is dedicated to the most physical film genre, thus also echoing and complementing the main theme of the festival - Body and flesh. Industry events are organized in close cooperation with the Latvian Animation Association. Admission to all events is free, open to all.
